STUDENTS OF POOR/ORPHAN HOME – EXAM RESULTS – 85% in SSLC, 50% in HSC

Dear All,

LAST YEAR (2008 – 2009) SSLC & HSC EXAM RESULTS OF STUDENTS OF AN ORPHAN HOME WHERE INDIA SUDAR CONDUCTED SPECIAL COACHING CLASSES

India Sudar has been conducting Free Tuition Classes and providing guides for the 10th Standard & 12th Standard students of Adi Dravida Samooga Sevagar Sangam (Poor & Orphan Home), Chennai. When we actually started the project, most of them used to fail in most of the subjects. Mrs. Clara, who took the tuition for these students, found that most of the students are weak in English. So, she arranged Special Coaching for English. This helped the students in passing the English exams.

Out of 8 students who appeared for SSLC (10th Standard) exam, 7 passed and only one student failed.  So, the result is 87.5%. This is the best result in this home till now. Out of 8 students who appeared for HSC (12th Standard) exam, 4 passed and 4 failed. So, the result is 50%. The moderate percentage of HSC result was due to the students being held up at school during the evenings for special classes. So, the students were unable to attend the Special Coaching Classes arranged by us.

Mr.Anandarangan, Secretary of the Home extended his wishes & prayers to all our members for the support extended by them. I would take this opportunity to thank all the members of India Sudar for their extended support to achieve this success. Our special thanks to tutor Mrs. Clara, and our IS member Senthil Kumar for co-ordinating and arranging for the Tuition Classes/Providing Free Guides.

Thanks & Regards,

T.Hari

Visit to Adi Dravida Samooga Sevagar Sangam Poor & Orphan Home

09th October 2006
Chennai, TN.

Dear Friends,

I have visited Adi Dravida Samooga Sevagar Sangam Poor & Orphan Home at Tondiarpet, Chennai on 9th October 2006. I review the Tuition classes arranged by us for 10th Standard students. Before we start tuition most of the students failed on most of the subjects, now they are failed one (or) two subjects with moderate marks. Our Tuition is very useful for the students and also students want more tuition time. So, I met the Tuition master and told him to take one hour extended classes daily. He also agreed for this. I hope students can score good marks and pass all the subjects in the coming exams.
