India Sudar Udhavum Nanbargal Project renewed

Hi Folks,

Hope you people knew we have been supporting Udhavum Nanbargal for few years and you might have seen my review report few weeks back. Based on the review, we decided to renew the project. Attached the Project reports for your reference.

We are supporting 9 centres here. Out of them, 5 are supported by Malar Trust Onlus & 4 are supported by Helping Minds. Really very much thank you for the trustees and members of those organisations. Unforgettably, thank you IS guys for your continuous support too. 🙂

Note 1: Really sorry for the delay in publishing the report, as we faced some unavoidable delays in getting and accessing the documents needed.

India Sudar Visit report and Requirement -GHS,Porani,Karur DT,TamilNadu

Dear All,

I visited Government High School,Porani,Karur Dt on 26 August 2013. We have been supporting this school for past 4 years. I interacted with teachers and inspected our library and notice board usage.

School strength: 248

Requirements:

1. There is a vacancy for social science subject teacher. -Indiasudar already deployed a teacher to take care of this. Teacher takes care our library and computer education.

2. Since Library is being utilized very well, we can provide some more books. – No of books based on member’s donation.

3. They need UPS for computers. They have one but it is under repair. It is better to provide separate UPS for each system. so that even if one is repair, other systems will not be disturbed. Again, even if one goes bad, it can be repaired by using school’s maintenance fund (meager amount). so Requirement is 7 UPS: Each costs around 1900 Rs. 13,300.

4. Need a career guidance to students. – will be given shortly by Indiasudar.

5. Need some motivational classes and Yoga classes- will be arranged soon.

India Sudar Deployed Teacher in Government Primary School, Mayunar, Karur, TN

Dear Friends,

We have deployed a teacher in Government primary school, Mayanur,Karur dt,TN, to teach English subject to the students studying in English Medium. In addition, Teacher handles Basic English and Spoken English classes to all the students of this school.

Total Benefited Students: 81 Students (1st Std to 5th Std)

Duration: 11 Months

Total Project cost: INR 33,000/- (11 X 3000 per month)

India Sudar IS-PY Sucessfull implemented 2.259/PY/2013_14

Dear All,

We have successfully implemented our Project ( Project code:2 Providing Education Stationaries) in St.John’s School, Pondicherry. Beneficiaries are the students from LKG to 5th STD. Totally we spent Rs. 12000 to complete this project.

Many thanks to Mrs. Ponrani (Rtd. Headmistress) who took much initiative to complete this project.

India Sudar TN Proj Report-2 teachers deployed at Thiru.vi ka Corporation School,Madurai

Dear All,

We have deployed two teachers (part time) @ Thiru.vi ka Corporation School , Thataneri , Madurai , TN.

Total Strength of the school: 1300 students.

Timings: 4 – 6 pm on schooldays.

Mr. P.Ashok is deployed to teach Commerce and accountancy to slow learners (60 students) studying +2

Mr. R.Saravanakumar is deployed to teach English subject to slow learners (60 students) studying 10th std

Salary for each teacher per month: 1250 Rs

Project duration: 9 months
