KA – Note Book Drive 2012 Completed successfully on Jun 30

Hello everyone,

Karnataka team has completed Note book distribution to 38 schools in Gauribidanur, Madhugiri taluks and IGIA, Jakkur on 30th June 2012.

Some highlights of the NBD 2012

– Total cost of the project Rs. 258641 + Rs 10500 (transportation) = Rs. 269141

– Funds raised for the project Rs. 1,56,095
– In association with 2 groups Aviratha and Future India
– Aviratha distributed books in Govt Schools near KR Pet, Chamarajanagara, Gadag on Jun 16
– Future India distributed books in Govt Schools near Kolar on Jun 23

– India sudar is distributed books in Govt Schools near Gauribidanur and Madhugiri taluks
– 38 schools and nearly 4500 students are benefited by Indiasudar supported schools
– IGIA, Jakkur is also included as part of NBD
– Total NBD order cost for Indiasudar, Aviratha and Future India is nearly 7.5 Lakhs
– New Cover pages designed for Note books by Ram Gautham

– Order placed at TLS Enterprises
– Note Books were delivered by Jun 20
– Volunteers sorted books school wise on Jun 23

Thanks to all the volunteers for all the support during the survey, co-ordination with the partner groups Aviratha and Future India, assessment of printers, placing order, sorting of the books and most importantly during the distribution on Jun 30.

Thanks to Sri GC Ramachandraiah, Head master of Gedere High School, for co-ordinating with the Head Masters in Gauribidanur taluk schools, help us plan the distribution at Gauribidanur
