Parents are preparing eatables (Murukku) and selling to shops. Monthly income: 8000 Rs.

They are staying in own House.

Till 10th std, she was studying in a nearby govt school. By seeing her marks, she was given free education in a nearby private school.

Yearly fee:

College: 18250 Rs – managed by parents

Hostel: 20,335 Rs –

( 12,335 Rs is taken care by his parents by borrowing money. Rs.8000 will be supported by INDIASUDAR).

Mess fee: will be taken care her parents

Indiasudar’s 8000 Rs support will be one time. From next year onwards, she has to manage by means of educational loan.

Family background is verified by our member Mr.Hari Sankar and I met her family and verified the certificates.

Parents are Blind. They both are vendors selling smaller articles in train and reside in Mathur in North Madras. Their son is studying in a Private school as Govt. Schools are not near by and they could not drop or get back. They have to go for their businesses to run the family. So, this boy was put up in a school nearby could easily go and return back without their help. All these years, donors have helped them apart from their savings and the boy is studying now in 5th standard. This year, they are not able to get help from their Donors .The school had asked the boy to discontinue since they are not able to pay the fees.

Thanks to Mr.Shankar who is the work coordinator of the project.

India Sudar Kancheepuram Dist, Tamil Nadu Career Guidance Program at Govt Higher Sec School at Manampathy Village

Dear Friends

On last Saturday,21st July 2012, India Sudar organised a Career Guidance session for 12th Standard students of Govt Higher Secondary School Manampathi, Chengalpet taluk, Kancheepuram district.

About105 Students were benefited by this program presented by Mr. M.Rajamadasamy. Career Guidance Booklets (Rs.20 each) were distributed to all students and teachers free of cost.

We like to thank Malar Trust for coordinating this event. Our sincere thanks to Mr. Kumar, Headmaster and all PG teachers of Govt Higher Secondary School, Manampathy.

Chennai Taramani Learning Centre Visit

Dear all,

Here is the report about our visit to one of the learning centres in Chennai on 1st July 2012 .

This particular learning centre is located at Tharamani, Chennai. There are 18 students studying in this learning centre. We have appointed a new teacher to teach them.

These students are having more interest in many extra-curricular activities like Hand-crafting, playing cricket etc. All these students are learning many things from the staff who has been appointed.

People who visited this learning centre:

1. Mr.Sargunan

2. Mr.Udayakumar.

3. Mr.Muthu Pandi.

4. Mr.Vasanth Kumar.

5. Mr.Kaarthick

We can help them in learning their academic syllabus. Apart from teaching them, can also help them in developing extra-curricular activities. We are planned to conduct small competitions among them and encourage them.

It will be very helpful if we take necessary steps and help them.
