We have distributed Stationary materials to Udhavum Nanbargal Trust. Last year also we have supported this trust by distributed the educational materials.

Our SINCERE THANKS to Malar Trust Onlus, Mr. fulvio & his team.

Project : Provided completed education material for 18 home students.

About Onsite: Udhavum Nanbargal is registered trust located in Alathur Village near by Chennai. This trust was started the noble services from the year 2004 by youth of the villages. This trust sincerely works for providing

educational assistance to the students from poor family studying in and around the village. This trust provides books and stationary to the students, conducting tuition and monitoring the student progress.

Total Amount : Rs.9994.

India Sudar Tamil Nadu Career Guidance Program at Madurai on 9th July 2011

Dear All,

India Sudar is organizing a Career Guidance Program on 9th July 2011 at two government schools in Madurai. We are inviting all interested people to join these events

Event-1
Venue : Sengunthar Mudaliyar Uravinmurai High School, Tallakulam, Madurai-625002 (Govt Aided School)
Date & Time : 09-07-2011,Saturday, 9.30 – 11.30 am
Participants : Around 100 Students of 9th & 10th STD

Event-2
Venue : Corporation Higher Secondary School, Sundararajapuram, Madurai -625011
Date & Time : 09-07-2011,Saturday, 2.30 – 4.30pm
Participants : Around 150 Students of 11th & 12th STD

Career Guidance will be presented by M.Raja. Career Guidance booklets prepared by India Sudar team will be distributed to all the participating students.

Project implementation- SEBLA-Science Experimental Based Learning and Awareness

Dear All,

SEBLA-Science Experimental Based Learning and Awareness

In order to improve the quality of this project, Indiasudar instructed the special teachers deployed by us for this project to prepare the document which should contain the list of experiments, principles of each experiment, procedure, frequently asked questions.

The document will be reviewed by Mrs.Thilagavathy, Science teacher, Govt School, Pugalur, Karur dt.

She will give one day training to our deployed teachers to enrich the way of explanation and better understanding.

All the above said assignments will be completed by July 4th 2011. Dream India and Indiasudar jointly implements this project.

India Sudar Tamil Nadu help required to buy slates

Dear All,

Govt High School,Porani,Karur dt,Tamilnadu

school secured 100% in SSLC in 2010 and 2011.

school strength: 230 (6th std to 10th std)

Problem:

most of the students are not in a position to buy note books. Even if they buy, they are not bringing the note books to school regularly. students from BPL families are studying in this school. school is located 25Kms away from karur.

Some students do not buy slates, some students do not bring slates to schools…..

Solution suggested by school HM:

School HM requested us to sponsor 170 slates (6th,7th and 8th std).

These slates will be kept in the school campus itself. Some part of written work (like Poem, daily one question, simple formulas, science diagram, one maths question) , small tests, simple maths can be done. This system will reduce the paper wastage also.

Requirement:

Rs.20 per slates

Total no of slates: 170

Total cost required: 3400 Rs.

School has sufficient no of teachers. School strength: 257 (1st std to 8th std).

School runs at 3 Different campuses.

Headmaster showed the govt fund and its utilisation with complete transparency and necessary particulars.

Students are from extremely poor back ground. Photos can explain the back ground.

School gives importance to quality of education. They are utilising computers,CDs given by govt and English and Tamil news papers-reading.

school allocated one compulsory period for library.
