I met Darmesh(Treaser) from NGO called Mughil. MUGHIL is a non-profit organization; we call it as “Sangam” in Tamil, which formed mainly to serve the children and poor students who are deprived of their basic educational needs.

Participate Chennai Marathon through India Sudar for “Educate Elevate”

You’re Welcome to Participate Chennai Marathon through India Sudar for “Educate Elevate”. Information follows.

Great Chennai Run – 7 km (Men & Women open to all above 14 years)

Starting time: 7.00 am

Route: Run will start at War Memorial.

Registration Fees: Rs.150 Per runner (Rs.30 for Marathon Registration + Rs.120 India Sudar will use rural students education)

1. How to Register ?

Step 1 : Transfer Rs.150 to India Sduar Account(http://www.indiasudar.org/donation.html) with Description of “<Chennai Run> / <Member code or Name>” (or) Directly deposit (or) Pay cash directly to India Sudar fund collector.

Step 2: Send your Name, Age, Sex, Phone No and Address to admin@indiasudar.org

2. Why I need to run through India Sduar ?

1. Your educating poor students through your run, You have theme(Educate Elevate) to run 2. You will get tax exemption certificate from India Sudar.

3. I am not in Chennai, Can I pay for some other runner ?

Yes, You can pay to India Sudar and some other IS member will run behalf of you.

4. How to participate after my registration ?

You have to collect Bib Number from India Sudar before 27September2009 & directly participate in Chennai Run from War Memorial.

5. Only india Sudar member can register ?

No, You can register for your family, friends, group, company, etc through India Sudar.

Karnatka: You can adopt student/class/school to Create Powerful India !!

India Sudar adopted 15 Government schools from Chikkaballapur and Tumkur District, Karnatka to provide education material for 1,700 students at cost of Rs.One Lakh. (Last year this was 12 schools) .

Year 2008-09 :: What we planned & What we achieved ?

Dear Friends:

Every academic year we will do our yearly project plan, that will be executed for complete academic year. Yes off course we will have yearly mission points, where we will concentrate more to reach our vision. Now we have completed our
academic year Apr/2008-Mar/2009. Let see what we planned and what we executed as follows.

Year 2008-09 – Planned to execute 110 project at cost of Rs.11,81,786 as per yearly plan

Year 2008-09 – Executed

6 Indian States/Union Territory in Scope
124 Projects executed
8,224 Students benefited
11,11,793 Rs invested to elevate India through education projects.

We missed to do following things as part of our mission-2008 statements.

1. India Sudar service will be extended to North India. Currently we are working only in South India – We are not extended much of our service to North India as we planned

2. India Sudar will use IT Tools to educate village student through India Sudar Computer Training Centers – We are not used any of the IT tool for village students

3. India Sudar will build web portal to handle our projects – We are not published our web portal.
